Naturopathic Medicine, What is it?

Naturopathic Medical Doctors graduate from a four year nationally accredited medical program. They are licensed to practice after passing Naturopathic Physician Licensing Examinations (NPLEX). They are trained as primary care physicians and thus treat and manage a variety of health conditions. Naturopathic medicine focuses on achieving optimal health by getting to the root cause of health issues and naturally supporting your body’s own self healing processes to overcome them. It utilizes diverse modalities including botanicals, nutrient supplementation, physical medicine, homeopathic remedies, IV therapy, and pharmaceutical medicine when necessary. Naturopathic medicine is holistic, meaning it addresses the whole body and mind as one synergistic unit of health.

Our naturopathic doctors provide a thorough assessment of your current health and health history, order comprehensive functional lab testing, and perform pertinent physical examinations. Treatment plans are then customized to fit the needs of the patient and address supplementation, diet, lifestyle, and exercise. Hormones or pharmaceutical medicines may be prescribed if deemed necessary. Appointments can be done in the clinic or virtually.

Regenerative Joint Injection Therapy

Our regenerative injection therapies target pain and inflammation in the body while helping to repair and regenerate existing damage to cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. Muscle and joint pain can inhibit us from living to our fullest potential. Our joints in particular are susceptible to damage and degeneration over time, especially in individuals that lead an active lifestyle.

What can be treated with regenerative injection therapies:
Tendonitis – Fasciitis – Joint pain – Muscle pain – Osteoarthritis – Torn ligaments or tendons – Sports injuries

Ozone Therapy:

Ozone has shown to induce a cellular cascade of antioxidants in the body as well as increasing cellular intake of oxygen. The result? Reductions in pain and inflammation in the areas injected as well as regeneration of cartilage and surrounding connective tissue for joints that function like they used to.

PRP Therapy:

Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, comes from our blood and is dense with growth factors. When injected into specific areas of the body those growth factors will initiate a healing cascade, recruiting healing proteins to the site to repair any damaged tissues. PRP therapy is a great way to use your own body’s healing capacity to reduce pain, inflammation and damage.

Nutrient Therapy

Intravenous, or IV, nutrient therapy increases energy, boosts the immune system, and ensures optimal cellular functioning. It assures that 100% of nutrients administered are bioavailable to the body where oral supplementation only provides around 50%.

What can be addressed with IV Nutrient Therapy?
Fatigue – Insomnia – Anxiety – Depression – Acute and chronic infections – Auto-immune conditions – Sports injuries – Physical performance

IV DRIP THERAPY:

This route of administration allows for larger doses and greater variety of nutrients in a potential treatment. It is the process of administering large amounts of nutrients into the system over a longer period of time.

IV PUSH THERAPY:

This is a great option for highly specific, immune-boosting therapies. It is shorter than a drip IV with more specific nutrients tailored to your needs.

IM INJECTION THERAPY:

Intramuscular, or IM, Therapy is a method of nutrient therapy where nutrients are delivered in the form a quick and painless shot. This ensures higher bioavailability of nutrients in substantial doses.

Microneedling Facials

Both PRP and microneedling have been shown to increase collagen production, for more youthful looking skin. This procedure is actually an administration of PRP, or platlet rich plasma, into the areas just below the skin. PRP is spread onto the skin followed by a process called microneedling, which penetrates the skin layer and incorporates the PRP. The vampire facial is minimally invasive and excellent way to achieve a lot of the same effects as botox, derma filling, or surgery.

What conditions are treated with Microneedling facials?
Wrinkles – Acne – Acne scars – Melasma – Sun spots – Stretch marks
